The audience is witnessing a love story in a city whose events unfold like a tragic theatre performance.
The heroes of the play are resilient, carrying memories of cities in their eyes and stories of estrangement on their shoulders and love in their hearts.
The show brings together two icons of Arab theatre: Roger Assaf, 82 and his partner Hanane Hajj Ali. They dance together for the first time, backed by a musician, Abed Kobeissy.
Their bodies and voices are imbued with the stories of their love, interwoven with the glories and downfalls of Mediterranean cities.

On Sunday 10 September at 12:00 there will be a brunch and discussion on the impact of theatre in Lebanon, with Michel Abou Khalil, Ali Chahrour, Issam Bou Khaled and Nivine Kallas.
