Circus

When you put up Dicklove to advertise your show, you set the tone. But not necessarily the gender. Between the Chinese pole, a traditionally masculine apparatus, and the pole dance bar, considered rather feminine, Sandrine Juglair doesn’t choose. She’s a circus artist and loves both. She caresses them, holds on to them and tackles them as if they were different, but in her eyes they’re identical. And this indistinction becomes the heart of her Dicklove, made up of childhood stories, excerpts from Paul B. Preciado and texts written by her and by Lucas Barbier who sings them on stage. Filled with joyous twists and delights, Dicklove is an ode to freedom.
