By fusing techno, experimental pop, and trance music, Swiss artist Aïsha Devi creates music like no other. Warm, synthetic sounds mark out her tracks, which evolve like paths along which her voice, at times slow, accelerated, soft, or furious, takes on particular importance. Accompanied by visual artist Emmanuel Biard, Devi will be coming to L’Alhambra to present Les Immortelles, a musical show as mystical as it is cosmic, created from the tracks on Death is Home, her latest album. With this work and its dramatic overtones, Devi pushes back the boundaries of her art even further and continues her experimental exploration of music. Enjoy a major audiovisual space odyssey!

Sharing the bill with Aïsha Devi, Tunisian DJ, singer, composer, and producer Deena Abdelwahed will be playing her album Jbal Rrsas, which brings together fezzani, chaâbi, and dabke through the prism of electronic music. Seen as a sonic agora by its creator, the album invites audiences to wander through a rave where alternative Arab music is reinvented. A member of the World Full of Bass collective, which brings together representatives of the Tunisian electronic music scene, Abdelwahed conjures up a dark, melancholy universe with a few bright touches here and there. Her music, instinctive and boundless, reflects her desire to see a more tolerant world emerge.
