WAYQEYCUNA (tres maneras de cantarle a una montaña) brings Tiziano Cruz’s trilogy to a close. After Adios Matepac, dedicated to his sister who died of influenza due to lack of medical care, and Soliloquio, a compilation of letters to his mother which we discovered at La Bâtie's 2022 edition, the Argentinian artist has continued the thread of his memoirs to give back their identity, their culture, and their authority to the dispossessed communities of his country. Wayqeycuna is a work of conciliation. On a museum stage draped with columns of fabric, Cruz invites his family members and ancestors to join him in the powerful poetry of their stories and his own memories. Today, the world begins here. An invocation as much as a manifesto, WAYQEYCUNA redraws the outline of their cosmogony in colour to make it a part of our future.

As part of his show WAYQEYCUNA, Tiziano Cruz is offering a bread-making workshop.
The artist invites us to take part in a suspended moment that interlaces art and territory, in an exploration of the culinary practices of his community. According to Tiziano Cruz, the making of these breads is seen as a ritual that presents and celebrates the dead, those beings who have left the earthly plane and now inhabit the ancestral plane.
A sharing experience that offers to create a bond between the artist, the community and the audience, who are invited to share the bread after the show.
