KNOBIL CH
Music
KNOBIL is a project by singer-songwriter Louise Knobil that combines French chanson with post-bop and spangled jazz. Inspired by Esperanza Spalding, Charles Mingus, and Boris Vian, the Lausanne-based artist shares her musical diary through beautiful texts and a double bass, the instrument that reveals both her aspirations and her inspirations. With infectious ingenuity enhanced by a touch of gentle madness, her compositions tackle themes as varied as polyamory, sleep deprivation, and pesto recipes. Each of KNOBIL’s tracks is an invitation to discover her rich and personal artistic universe, with its multiple musical influences linked together by an intense desire for freedom.
