When concert halls close, La Bâtie’s Lieu Central opens its doors, inviting the public to partyat Fonderie Kugler the night away for 7 nights of clubbing. Co-organised with various collectives, these events  will feature the cream of the international nightlife scene. Musicians, DJs, and performers will be putting on pumping sets and performances ranging from baile to reggaeton, techno, and house. Let’s dance!

Cashu
Carolina Schutzer, aka Cashu, is a key figure in São Paulo’s queer electronic music scene. In 2013, together with Carneosso, she founded the Mamba Negra collective, an independent organisation that provides artistic experiences and platforms for artists, and fights for diversity. Their events usually take place in abandoned and unoccupied venues, driven by a determination to advance female representativeness and sexual and gender freedom. The group began as a platform for live and organic music, eventually establishing itself as one of São Paulo’s leading electronic music collectives. It also functions as a musical project, an agency, a visual intervention device, a label, and a radio station. Her sets are steeped in rallying and exhilarating energy.

Hirma
A founding member of the Zagaza collective, Hirma invites us on an astonishing musical journey where she combines varied, opposing, and complementary styles. Her unique approach, focusing mainly on Afro rhythms with hip-hop, drum’n’bass, and jersey club influences, awakens and stimulates our musical memory, immersing us an unforgettable sonic experience. After her acclaimed sets at Motel Campo, KZERN, and La Gravière, she’ll be paying us a visit at La Bâtie. Her motto: I’ll make you feel sexy!

Marara Kelly 
Performer, singer and DJ Marara Kelly draws inspiration for her performance art and music from her Amazonian roots. From Brazil to Switzerland, she creates sonic bridges, bringing baile funk and tecno-brega into her sets, two styles of music that remix world pop in a bid to decolonise the style in a radical, bouncy way. On the dancefloor, bodies come alive and galvanise to the powerfully joyful and liberating sounds of her music.
